The Business Manager is over all things financial and administrative at the Wesley.

I am a Certified Public Accountant in Texas and in Florida.  I graduated from the University of Miami with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration – Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Taxation.  I worked in Public Accounting for 23 years as a Tax Manager specializing in nonprofits, high net-worth individuals, state income taxes and training staff accountants.  After, I was the Director of Finance at a K-12 Christian private school. 

In 2020, our family returned to Texas and moved to Conroe.  I have been married for 35 years to my husband, Edwin.  We have a daughter who is married and recently had a baby – my first grandchild!  Our family is Methodist and we attend First Methodist Conroe.

I was introduced to a Wesley Campus Ministry when my daughter attended the University of Miami.  She resided in the dorm within the Wesley Campus Ministry on that campus.  She had a wonderful experience. My husband attended Sam Houston State University and knew of the Wesley Campus Ministry – SHSU. 

Fast forward to 2023, a family friend (who at the time was the Board President at Wesley) asked me to meet the Campus Minister (Sadie) at Wesley and discuss my joining the team as the Business Manager. It has been wonderful to continue working in Christian ministry alongside inspiring college students.

I love to travel and have a passion for road trips.  We have traveled extensively throughout the Unites States working towards our goal of visiting all 50 states.  I only have five states left to reach that goal!
