I grew up in the United Methodist Church, but it was in college that I truly built my own relationship with God. I felt my call to ministry on a mission trip my junior year, and it changed the course of my life. That experience is why I'm so passionate about creating spaces for college students to explore faith for themselves — a season of life often overlooked by the local church, but one full of important questions and growth.

Previously, I directed the Wesley House at Tyler Junior College (which doubles as a private Christian dorm), served on the Conference's Board of Higher Education and Campus Ministry for 8 years, sat on Lamar University's Wesley Foundation Board, and worked as a Wesley Foundation intern at my alma mater in Austin. Campus ministry has been my passion through every season of life.

I hold a B.A. in Anthropology from UT Austin and an M.Div. from SMU's Perkins School of Theology, and I was ordained by the Texas Annual Conference in May 2021.

Outside of ministry, I'm a proud dog mom to Ripley, an 11-pound terrier/chihuahua rescue I found outside my church nine years ago. I played roller derby for the Spindletop Rollergirls pre-pandemic, and these days you'll likely find me running around Huntsville training for my next race. I love to travel and chase adventure — if there's an adrenaline-filled activity involved, I'm probably in.
